Excellent news that work is to start soon on extra security gates at the rear of Kings House on the Mawbey Brough estate. This kind of practical measure will, we hope help to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.
Congratulations to all the tenants and residents who campaigned for this. Re-launching the TRA on the estate, which ward councillors have strongly supported, is helping improve the estate and as local councillors we are continuing to work with local residents on issues like getting a car club bay on the estate and improving the estate's playgrounds.
